I don't think I've seen enough films this year to fill out the entire list for 10 each so I'll do 5 instead
My 5 Best Movies Of The Year
1. 10 Cloverfield Lane - John Goodman's performance alone was the pinnacle of acting in cinema this year (though Anthony Hopkins' in Westworld rivals it hard in general terms)
2. The Hateful Eight - I loved this movie, it was just so interesting and well acted despite being really quite isolated to one location, just so good. Quotable as hell too.
3. Moana - Beautiful Disney movie with some great songs.
4. The Nice Guys - Hilarious movie with some awesome action and good chemistry between Gosling and Crowe.
5. Doctor Strange - Really fun movie with some great special effects work.

Honorable Mentions: Zootopia, Captain America Civil War

My 5 Worst Movies of the Year (From Best To Worst)
5. Deadpool - Despite being a pitch perfect rendition of Deadpool, I just did not think this movie was up to much at all. Story went nowhere, jokes fell flat, just wasn't great.
4. Batman V Superman - Ben Affleck did an AMAZING turn as Batman. Everything else fell flat, particularly Jesse Eisenberg who was just.... just awful as Lex Luthor.
3. X-Men Apocalypse - The sad thing with this movie is during the first 10-20 minutes it showed some serious potential but then it just became a tedious CGI fest.
2. The Revenant - I'm sorry, I know some people love this movie, but holy crap it was the definition of self-indulgence. 3 hours of a man grunting and crawling in the snow, the violence (when it did happen to break up the monotony) was just too much. Also the film is essentially just the same revenge story you've seen billions of times in movies already. I really hated this movie in almost every conceivable way, the cinematography saved it from being number 1 worst movie of the year, which this year belongs to....
1. Suicide Squad - Oh. My. God. This film was insultingly bad. The whole thing smacked of DC trying desperately to cash in on the success of "Guardians of the Galaxy", from the "unlikely team of heroes" right down to the use of music, the problem is Suicide Squad doesn't have any level of thought put into it. The first 20 minutes are just telling us all about these heroes, jumping from one to another awkwardly as if theyre all in different movies, before bringing them all together where it then becomes the Will Smith show (That dude flat out did not bother to act in this movie). And Jared Leto's performance as the Joker was flat out abysmal - especially when you keep in mind his "off set behaviour because method acting". Easily the worst movie of the year, and that movie alone (along with BvS to an extent) makes me half wish DC would just stop trying to make a cinematic universe, it was that bad.

Honourable Mention: Rogue One (not terrible though, just incredibly disappointing imo)

Not in order, the ones I most enjoyed included

The Nice Guys
Hail Caesar
Zootropolis
Finding Dory
Your Name
Doctor Strange
Queen of Katwe
A Bigger Splash
Arrival
Maggie's Plan

I really liked Deadpool but only saw it on a plane so can't really rate it properly. Didn't see any bad films this year, but thought The Jungle Book and Love & Friendship were overrated.

In no particular order difficult to separate.

Best
Hunt For The Wilder People
The Big Short
Janis: Little Girl Blue
Under The Shadow
Arrival
Nice Guys
Notes on Blindness
Love and Friendship
Son of Saul
Room

Worst

Batman vs Superman
Point Break
Zoolander 2
Hail Caesar
London Has Fallen
X-Men Apocalypse
Dad’s Army
Exposed
Norm of the North
Grimsby

I would add films that disappointed me but were not horrible.

Jason Bourne
Wished they had left it as a trilogy because it was one of the best trilogys ever made.

Civil Action
Far too much action and not enough story and humour.

Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome:
Kept putting off watching this time and again and when I eventually did I wished I hadn't.

Star Trek Beyond
Probably spoiled by the prequels especially the last one.

Sorry my error, watch too many films. But maybe I should consider a civil action against the studio.

Best -

1. Eddie the Eagle
2. The Conjuring 2
3. Brothers Grimsby
4. Lights Out
5. Triple 9

I've got the Shallows and Suicide Squad to watch over Christmas, so they could be added to the list (or even the one below, judging by the some of the above reviews :O).

Worst -

1. 5th Wave
2. Central Intelligence
3. Precious Cargo
4. Phantasm: Ravager (Wanted this to be in the other list more than any other film this year, but such a huuuuge huge let down it was ridiculous).

Best :

Spotlight - not groundbreaking, but a decent story driven film about newspapers and investigative journalism. Sort of sad, that this type of film probably won't get made again what with newspapers having too much competition from the internet.

Deadpool - good, not quite as great as lot of people make it out to be. Put it this way, Kick Ass did it before and a lot better. However, it still had its moments.

High Rise - Interesting film from Ben Wheatley based on JG Ballard's book. Loses its way about halfway through, but never the less still pretty decent.

Star Trek Beyond - not up to the previous film in the reboot franchise, but it was a pretty solid blockbuster.

Youth - not outstanding, but interesting and quirky little film with a decent cast(Weisz, Caine and Keitel).

Trumbo - good to see Bryan Cranston getting a meaty role after Breaking Bad. Decent story about old Hollywood and the McCarthy witch hunt.

Worst :

Hail Caesar - the Coen brothers can be a bit hit and miss for me. It's obviously about early Hollywood, but a lot of the humour and satire left me cold.

The Hateful Eight - this left me thinking that QT had made a seriously flawed film. I think there's good parts in it(a couple of plot twists and Jackson's performance is superb), but for all the fanfare(70 mm presentation, Western, good cast, etc.) I was left thinking this was one of the worst films that QT has ever made. Strange thing is, I think that there is a good film in there - it just needed much better editing and reigning in some of QT's excesses.

Hell or High Water. Best film I saw all year.

Most disappointing: The Revenant, Jason Bourne.
Don't really watch the superhero/all action stuff. Ticket prices in London mean I have to be selective.
Might try to catch 10 Cloverfield Lane as like Goodman in most things

I could probably do top/bottom 5 - but I wasn't amazed by anything this year and made a point of avoiding films I knew that I wouldn't like, so it be more like my most enjoyable and least enjoyable.

Top:

- Everybody wants some
- Deadpool
- Nocturnal Animals
- The Girl with all the gifts
- 10 Cloverfield Lane

Bottom

- Midnight Special
- The Witch
- Warcraft
- Star Trek Beyond
- Arrival

I feel bad putting any on the above list given that I also saw 'Office Christmas Party' and 'Sausage Party' - but both of those meet my 'rubbish but funny' expectations whilst those of the list came up way short from what I was hoping for.

I don't think I have seen 10 films this year. So ran through your lists, so will agree with

Cabin Fever (remake) Good
10 Cloverfield Lane- Good (ending was a bit disappointing)

The Hateful Eight- Worst
GhostBusters - Worst than I even imagined it to be
GooseBumps - Worst (Bad Acting)

Here would be my ranking of the films I have seen in 2016. Overall it wasn't a very good year for movies.

Finding Dory
Zootropolis
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Warcraft
Suicide Squad
Deadpool
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (Bebop and Rocksteady's appearance keep this high due to nostalgia, Casey Jones was a bit off though)
Captain America: Civil War
X-Men: Apocalypse
Star Trek Beyond
Ghostbusters (Wasn't anywhere near as bad as some of the critics were making it out to be)
The BFG
Jason Bourne
Batman: The Killing Joke
Allegiant
The Conjuring 2
Snowden
Sully
The Purge: Election Year
Now You See Me 2
Grimsby
Independence Day: Resurgence (Terrible CGI throughout, backgrounds just did not match the foregrounds)

Top 10 films:

1. Nocturnal Animals
2. The Big Short
3. 10 Cloverfield Lane
4. Manchester by the Sea
5. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
6. Captain America: Civil War
7. Spotlight
8. Tower
9. Brimstone
10. Room

Tower and Brimstone I am not sure have had a UK release outside the festival circuit though.

I would have had Son of Saul on this list, as that was outstanding, but I saw that at the London Film Festival last year and included it on my list last year.

Wouldn't say I saw any out and out bad films this year, those that disappointed me were:
Deadpool, X Men: Apocalypse, Doctor Strange, Arrival and Birth of a Nation (obviously my views are in the minority in regard several of these... )
