Joy.

That's what working class Americans wanted their tax dollars spunked on, I'm sure.

Probably just another load of tweet bollocks to get people worked up, while he quietly feeds the all-new swamp.

For the safety of the world, Trump is a danger that needs to be expunged.

"The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes"

Clearly no intention of leading the way then.

I assume you'd like him replaced by that well known pacifist Clinton.

Is she into more nukes? US gets more nukes, Iran decides it needs nukes, as a result of Iran wanting nukes Saudi Arabia decides it needs nukes, Israel decides it needs more nukes because Iran and Saudi Arabia have more nukes, Russia gets more nukes because the US has more nukes, China gets more nukes because Russia and U have more nukes, Japan decides it needs nukes because China and Russia have nukes, North Korea gets more nukes because Japan has nukes, South Korea gets nukes because North Korea has nukes, India decides that as everyone else has nukes then it needs more nukes - as does Pakistan...

maybe not for long

Trump also said during the campaign he would prefer to see Japan and South Korea have their own nukes rather than relying on the US to "protect" them

This is most unfortunate....
Perhaps my memory fails me, but didn't the civilised nations with the bomb all sign Nuclear non-proliferation treaties?
Would he not be in contravention of this?

Doesn't the US already have enough nukes to blow up the world? No country needs more nukes than that.

It will take some going to reach historic levels

I've not heard that Trump wants to exit the NPT but if he does it would not be a wise move. Hopefully decades spent reducing the numbers will not be wasted.

They should recess the launch button so his unusually short fingers can't reach it.

So sad, so sad.

Surely it is better to promote getting rid of nuclear weapons, or just keeping them at current levels, not expanding them.

Exactly.

Why can't the US and other countries, just stick to a limit of nuclear weapons, like 200 or so, even then that is so much that it could cause a huge amount of devastation.

We (The whole world) just have to hope his advisors make him see sense.

Don't hope for anything with Trump. Always expect the worst, and then be surprised that it's worse than you imagined.
