And as I said - I'd have been happy for Claudia to win too, who was an excellent dancer and was the only person who rivaled Danny in actual skill and ability.

I'm really over the fact that Danny didn't win because I know he's going to have a longer and better career and everybody with a brain knows he was robbed. At least Danny and Claudia didn't have to rely on pure manipulation and lying. And even though I dislike Kevin, I'll admit Louise didn't have to rely on falseness either. Even though she had prior training I genuinely do think she was quite shy and became slightly more comfortable.

It's just performance, chaps. The entire point of a celebrity Instagram account is to have your pictures mined by the tabloids and get an article written about you. If the resulting article is positive, you preen. If it's negative, you apologise and get your name in a second article for the apology. It's a win-win for Ore.

I really don't understand your point here. One - Ore - is wearing a typical bog standard latin shirt in the same style that you see up and down the country each week in competition. The other - far from being " open at the bottom " is not done up at all. I really didn't like the open shirt flapping around, added to the already frantic look of the dance.

The right dancer won - the person who received more votes. I don't see that you can say Ore was fake...he seemed a lovely guy to me, but then I don't know him, I presume you do? If he was fake, well, he fooled an awful lot of people to vote for him.

Anything Danny said I took with a pinch of salt. Oti and Danny were trying hard to play down his prior professional dance training. I just didn't buy this suffering with major nerves & his shyness to reveal his torso for his Samba.

I mean, if we're talking fake and phony and whatnot, then a guy who's spent a large proportion of his public professional career shirtless (and won awards for it) suddenly claiming that he can't POSSIBLY do a shirtless rumba because he has STANDARDS don'tcha know seems more inconsistant than Ore getting carried away under the public adulation and wanting to inspire a few faps for Christmas.

I think it's naff and a bit sad when anyone spends time standing on their own taking pics of themselves in their pants to post online to get validation from a load of strangers. That includes Greg and any other celebs who do it. I didn't see Ore say why he apologised - did he actually say it was because bitter pearl clutchers/Danny fans were awful? Loads of celebs get criticised all the time for posting vain pics online but they don't usually feel the need to issue a public apology. Maybe he just realised for himself that it's a bit of an embarrassing thing to do.

The torso was nothing to do with the shyness, he just didn't want to do it at first. He is quite a nervous person though and I think you can tell that sometimes. Even his friends said he's really quiet in real life and not at all how you'd expect him to be, seeing as he's an actor. Judge Rinder is the same apparently - very theatrical on telly and is used to obviously being the centre of attention in court as most barristers are, but in real life quite shy and reserved.

Nah...I think Danny was just as genuine as Ore is. Do I think it was an ordeal for him to dance open-shirted? No. Do I think that he would rather have been seen as more than just the good looking actor? Definitely. I don't think Danny's ~~~~reluctance had anything to do with modesty rather than the desire to change his image a bit.

Danny is a lovely, talented, decent guy. I don't think a vocal minority of his so called fans are any real reflection on him, no matter how they try and project onto him.

I wouldn't have objected if it had been a "here's how I looked before 3 months of dancing" and "here's how I look now" sort of thing, but it just came off as totally sleazy and egotistical. Like he saw himself in the mirror and thought "Oh I look good, let's take a picture!"
