RE Danny showing his chest during the Samba, it was a mutual decision between Oti, Danny and the wardrobe department. They said so during their ITT interview.

Have you ever googled Danny Mac? Some interesting photos of a shy boy who doesn't want to flaunt his body especially the one with the loofah. He certainly doesn't come over shy.

Is this any different to Louse modelling underwear? A photo shoit is somewhat different to a selfie.

He may well be a lovely man , I dont know him but he came across as not natural and a tad forced IMO”

As I've posted before, Ore was my favourite at the start. I was delighted when I heard he was taking part as his presence had brightened my breakfast viewing from when he first appeared, and I thought he'd be very good. I couldn't take my eyes off him in the first group dance. However, it was less his performances on the dance floor as his 'presentation' in interviews and pieces to camera that put me off. As you say, it seemed "put on" and rehearsed, and very different from how he'd seemed before (or indeed, in his SPOTY red carpet interview after Strictly). I tried to ignore it (I can be very forgiving of an attractive man) but as time went on it got too much.

Danny, OTOH, I was determined to dislike. He was just the blandly handsome hunk from Hollyoaks who I'd never heard of before. However, he won me over. Now, this may just be because as an actor, he's able to 'do' sincerity better than Ore. *Shrugs*

Man posts selfie and the DM High Horse Brigade start the bashing, plus a couple of disgruntled Danny's fans here jump on the bandwagon.

Jeez, get over yourselves, it's just a selfie.

(and I really wouldn't object to a few more please because it's Christmas and treats are welcome at this time of year and God bless him and his physique )

DS is for opinions and discussions . If you want appreciation only you will find it on the appreciation thread .

Photo shoot or not to argue that Danny is shy doesn't hold. It really boils down to if you don't like Ore for whatever reason anything he does is going to be slated. What a sad world we live in.

Tbh I don't understand the need for selfies or posting every detail on Facebook but that's me others don't have a problem with it.

Merry Christmas everyone

Well that was the idea I would have thought.

Absolutely. Why is it so bad that us people who didn't like the selfie are made out by some to be sore losers, pearl clutchers etc etc.

I didn't like it and I am neither a sore loser or pearl clutcher and no I wont get over myself. The fact that Ore apologised indicated to me that he received a lot of negative comments - oh hang on, they were from those dreadful people who read the Daily Mail so obviously those comments count

Anyway on a lighter note. A Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you all

Yet Louise and her confidence (or lack thereof) was brought up several times. Ores body may be sculpted. What made me barf was his chewing a wasp attempt at "sexy face".

I personally do not like the "selfie culture" no matter who is doing it. Probably why I am not on instagram.

I never said he was completely shy. Just he had to be persuaded to show his chest on Strictly. He's said a few times that as he gets older he's less comfortable with taking his clothes off. Even before this though every time he went shirtless was in Hollyoaks or a photoshoot - professional environment. A sports presenter in a changing room is weird and sleazy.

So, you did some research in response to my comment regarding vain celebrities and their selfies? Which of us is OTT then?
I am flattered by your attention - mwa!
However, your research is rather lazy and poor quality; otherwise you would have noted that I mentioned more than one person who deserved to win over Ore ( to help your analytical thinking, that means that I favor good dancing skills rather than a person).
In addition, my very negative reaction to Ore's selfie is not my reaction to him: I had a similar reaction to another celebrity's semi-naked selfie.
Your lazy research missed that - tsk, tsk! Sloppy job, RandomSally.

In the spirit of peace and goodwill to all, you'll thank me for reminding you that we are in Great Britain and here, we spell the BIB as 'favour'. Think of it as my to you

Oh dear. The phrase 'less is more' comes to mind. Nevermind, I'm of a mind to be kind......look I'm trying, really, really trying to say something nice, but my mind keeps flashing onto a gloriously toned muscular body combined with a winning personality.

I'll settle for this. The pic you showed is a lovely photo and his mother must love it. He has very scuffed knees. (I really must drink more wine).
