Apologies, my mistakes, I've never done a selfie. Regardless though it's not a good look.

Jay's view of bare chests is rather more ironic.

I was not aware. I'm not familiar with the play. Does it require him to spend a lot of time on his knees? they look a little sore, poor lamb

Natural though.

Its based on the film and he plays the part that Tom Hanks played when a boy turns into a man overnight. That picture is obviously him playing the boy - note his tats are covered up. I haven't been to see it but, from the people who have, its very good and he plays the part very well. Singing, dancing and acting.

I haven't seen it either, but I presume it's when he wakes up to discover that he's grown up overnight.

I think that's the gist of it. It might be coming to the west end next year so I might give it a go. Diana Vickers is in it too.

It would be better as a film I imagine, unless the little boy wore grown up underwear to bed

Anyway, I've now consumed enough festive cheer to not even know to which thread I'm replying, so if the photo of the curly-haired moppet is supposed to compare to Ore, it's a massive fail.

I doubt very much it is meant to compare to Ore. It is a pic from Big not a selfie

As I said earlier Huph - one is acting the other is posing. I know which one I prefer and its not the one that is posing

I imagine, be it stage or film, some articstic licence was taken with the totally credible premise of a 12 year old boy being transmogrified into a 30 year old man after wishing on a fortune telling machine that made his superhero y-fronts grow in proportion. Same with the socks. Wish fullfilment with an edge of modesty. What's not to like.

I feel like it's the most appropriate end for this thread that I walk away for 5 minutes and it somehow becomes about Jay Merry Xmas Digital Spy.

I am afraid I will have to re-gift it as useless. Since I am not in Great Britain, I will be spelling it the way we spell it here. Keep learning, and you might learn that there is a world beyond the British borders.
You are welcome!

Lord! A Christmas highlight for Ore and Portia was apparently meeting Katie Price!!!

I wanted Danny to win the glitterball, just as much for Oti as for him although I thought he was a great bloke, but tbh thought all the finalists were fab and that Ore probably performed best in the night so wasn't cheesed off about Ore and Joanne's win. I thought Ore a little annoying and "sick of self love' throughout the series, but hey, he's very attractive, has a right to be proud of being so ripped after his hard training and that selfie is pretty damned gorgeous. JMO, obvs.

Thanks, OP, for the link. Yum.

Ore' selfie is not really my cup of tea, but tastes vary and I don't think it's a crime that he is proud of his body, and he shouldn't have to apologize for it.

Danny is a gorgeous looking young man, but these knickers shoots tingle my humoristic centre more than my libido. But then IMO despite not really being a fan of him, the only man who kind of gets away with these kind of shoots is David Beckham.
I do appreciate though that Danny doesn't seem to be covered in tattoos, a nice and rare exception these days, it seems.

I can understand that he didn't want to dance with an open shirt the Rumba, as he was here to (learn to) dance and not as beefcake/eye candy. And no, I don't consider it hypocritical that changed his mind (or let himself be persuaded to change his mind ), as it fitted the tribal nature of *that* Samba perfectly: raw, edgy, inhibited.

I too am glad he has no tattoos. I do hope the fashion dies out soon.

Some people have really got it in for Ore. Wonder why?

I thought initially that it was just some being mean-spirited but I have to admit that some of the anti-Ore comments have been so vociferous that it makes one wonder whether it's because Ore is the antithesis of Jay, who appeared to be universally worshipped on DS?

If Jay ever thought that someone was targeted by mean spirited people I am sure he would lose all respect for such fans. From what I gather of Jay, he is a pretty decent bloke

The negativity towards Ore has nothing to do with Jay

The negativity towards Ore exists in a context that the individuals concerned must at some level understand. But no one's declaring it, which leads naturally to speculation. My own nervousness about the driver for the forum reaction (and beyond) have had me sitting on my hands right through this series.

It is a little naive to think it has nothing to do with Jay and to eyeroll the thought of it.

I say this as a lot of the negativity started after Ore's jive and the remarks that came afterwards from the judges, so they are not completely unrelated.

I do not think I am being naive for thinking Jay has nothing to do with the negativity towards Ore. And I will eyeroll all I want, don't need you to police my posts.

The jive was week 3 and yes some Jay fans were up in arms at the comparisons. Jay personally couldn't give a damn (his dad said on twitter that Jay was pleased for Ore(.

The negativity grew as the series went on and was more to do with mean spirited people. Nothing whatsoever to do with Jay.
