Boy wakes & finds stocking full on bed, goes and wakes sis and they bring them to our room and they go through their stockings on our bed. I make them pose for photos until I'm asked to stop. Politely. There are no attitudes on Xmas Day.
After the year Boy woke the house at 4am and then slept the whole day through the tradition ^^^ has been updated to specify - if clock indicates it is before 7am one must go back to sleep. Stockings must only be peeped in and family members woken after 7am, preferably 8am.
Once stockings are done we all go down together and wait at living door to make sure everyone there and no one goes in alone like a Xmas maverick.
Kids and dog open Santa stuff. I take photos until asked to stop... I try to find something Xmassy to put on TV in background but get distracted and we end up with random toot on until presents are done and husband asks why we're watching the shopping channel. Then I feel disappointed because IT'S NOT XMASSY!
Have breakfast (Kraves - son insists on Xmas Kraves) in living room and then we all open everything under the tree.
Someone has to remove stocking from dog's head where she inevitably gets herself stuck. Every year.
Someone will stick a sticky bow on dog's head and we laugh until she starts spinning round and then I take pity and say it's cruel.
Kids play/showering/dressing and in-laws arrive at some point for an hr or so to see what kids got.
Walk dog.
Off to my folks to open more presents & Xmas dinner.
We always plan to watch the Xmas movie after Queen's speech but we always miss it because there's so much going on.
Back home, sleepy and content, jimjams on and on sofa for Dr Who. Cold turkey, pickles, cheeses, crackers, chutney, ham & cold stuffing. Xmas cake. Xmas pudding and cream.
Play new board game with kids. Bed. It always goes so fast!
Every Xmas Eve kids get to open 2 presents - 1 from us that's always Christmas jammies to wear that night and one from a friend.
ETA: I'm aware that reads like a 'What we do at xmas' but those are our traditions. All of them. If those things didn't happen in that order we'd be all at sixes and sevens.
