She has a starting point nearly all her MPs and even 56% of the Remain vote agree on - the need for some form of organised national control on immigration. That starting point, and the Europeans, determine what else we get.
Labour has a far left leadership group that don't believe in nationalism, or immigration control, and voters and MPs that believe in both. It fails at stage one. And while some MPs might want to prioritise Single Market access. Labour can't start from there either - because the leader and those around him don't like markets , and regard the EU as a capitalist club that might get in the way of a more command economy.
Labour is more stuffed than the average Christmas Turkey.
