I think there'll be a scandal that forces his resignation.

I think a new party will form from the right of the Labour party and SDP as the Brexit fallout hits hard.
I do wonder if he could possibly be around for eight years. He is a proverbial loose cannon with a temper to match and has already generated a load of controversies before even being inaugurated.

Armageddon was a strawman put up by the Brexit campaign, just like predictions of WW3. When you repeat the lies, you are part of the problem.
Donald Tusk said that Brexit could bring about the end of Western political civilisation as we know it. He's not made of straw.

The economy will continue to do well though we will keep being warned that it will collapse when we trigger Article 50.

The same flawed PPT of propheced doom used for the referendum will be re-used for the month preceeding article 50.

How many Muslims in person have you called Moslem which in Arabic means"one who is evil and unjust" when the word is pronounced, as it is in English, Mozlem with a z. That you are confident its acceptable and not commonly regarded as a prerogative.

Out of interest are there any other words you use from the past that you regard as acceptable despite other people telling you online or elsewhere that they are now regarded as pejorative or derogatory?
Several and it's people like you that keep telling me. Unfortunately, I can't list them because people like you have now managed to get them written into anti-discrimination law, despite the fact that they weren't used in a discriminatory way. Such laws cause more problems than they solve.

You make that prediction for nearly any US President
Well there have been ten attempted assassinations of US Presidents and four successful assassinations and Trump is extremely controversial so it might be worth a bet.

Most definitely. .

1) Labour will reduce their poll deficit to single digits by the summer as the PLP continues their policy of simply ignoring Corbyn's existence

2) The SWP/AWL will continue their coup attempts from the left. Initially causing a split in Momentum with the non-trot corbynites retaining the name under Lansman but the membership split. SWP/AWL/Militant will then then move to take control of the NEC.

The PLP will cease to hold their tongues at this point and again Labour will slip to double digits behind as Corbyn fiddles whilst the party burns. A Hero will emerge at conference to oppose the coup and his support will drown out Jerry. There will not however be a challenge to his "leadership" this year

3) May will continue to ride the ABC wave, playing to the Tory right with the odd speech to cheer the peasants. She'll trigger A50 as promised then spend the rest of the year trotting out the "Sush! grown ups are talking" when asked for any details on negotiations. She will finish the year with record breaking popularity despite not really doing anything

4) The SNP will continue to pretend to be relevant. The LDs will continue to pick up the Remain backlash, the Greens will vote on absorption by the Labour party at roughly the same time as the Co Operative party announces it is looking to break from Labour. None of any of this will gain any attention outside the bubble.

5) Unemployment will rise a bit; Taxes will come down a bit; FTSE will finish the year higher than it started; Property prices will rise across the board with the biggest rise being in the South West and the smallest being Scotland

6) will be the most popular emoji

The most obvious prediction is that the Brexit extremists from either side will continue their childish baiting of each other by desperately trying to twist any piece of news to suit their agenda, no matter how tenuous the evidence. The rest will realise that Brexit hasn't happened and it is way too early to tell for sure what the effect will be.

It also goes without saying that the government will continue to make life even more difficult for the more seriously ill and disabled people.

I really hope that Marty's prediction that the Lib Dems are wound up for moral bankruptcy comes true. If it does then UKIP and the Tories will have gone a long time prior to that, as will Labour if they hadn't already imploded. That would lead us to the only thing that can save the country....an OMRLP landslide!

Other than that, Old Potato Head will lead the claret and blue army back to the promised land

No Moslem is actually a derogatory term for Muslim . The op knew what they were doing I was just calling him / her out on it
The depth of intellect and moral rectitude in DS forums never ceases to amaze me.

Donald Trump is unexpectedly a sensational diplomat. Signs new missile treaty with Vlad after sweaty grunting grappling sessions on judo mat. Agrees Taiwan treaty with Xi after late nights discussing Taoism over bowls of green tea. Then hosts new climate change treaty sessions at the UN ..........

(then i woke up).

I'd predict that by the end of next year there will be much more uncertainty and ambivalence among the public surrounding Brexit and May starting to come under some pressure from the media. It has been very much a 'phoney war' so far. It has all the appearances of something that will be messy and will not run smoothly.

I predict that you will be as utterly wrong next year as you have this year.

I predicted Brexit all along, so much so that people here assumed I was a strident supporter of it I kept saying in the weeks up to the referendum that all the signs were leaning in that direction and that a close run race could only be ominous for the remain side.

Hopefully the human race is annihilated in some extinction level event.
You didn't vote for Brexit did you?

Why LOL?

I'm telling you that's how I've ALWAYS known it - I used to think those that typed Muslim had got it wrong - recently I assumed (I think I looked it up) that either is correct/acceptable.

Now that I've learnt otherwise I will do my utmost to refrain from using it but I swear I had no idea that it was considered offensive.

You can LOL all you like but that's a FACT.

You will find a number of items about it, the PC brigade can only read one. Next they'll be telling us that free and three are spelt the same, simply because so many people can't pronounce "th" except when they're lisping, a word for which the big, worldwide question will ask why it has an "s" in it.

A) A new fault line opens up in the Labour party over Brexit - with Keir Starmer leading the argument that Labour should do all it can to oppose the process and the leadership's wanting to accept Brexit and possibly even leaving the single market. Starmer is eventually sacked and a number of ministers resign again. However there is no leadership challenge this time, with Labour MPs having learnt their lesson. Instead Labour stumbles from one bad news story and election result to another until finally Corbyn is forced to resign around December (more than likely than not due to something that Dianne Abbot says/does). Starmer becomes favourite for leadership whilst McDonnell narrowly fails to get the nominations needed to stand.

B) Trump ends up in a number of self made crisis by the of the year, but is able to argue his way out of taking responsibility.

C) The Queen continues as normal.

D) Boris Johnson has to resign as foreign secretary

I still cannot understand why, if Moslems are now Muslims, then mosques are not musques.

First "experts", now books. What next?
"You rely too much on the alphabet to communicate. Grunting is the way forward."?

Grunting is highly intellectual when accompanied by a leadless pencil .... preferably a large and heavy one that leaves an indelible impression on the minds of those too dim to get the gist of gutteral noises without a written explanation.

What an English word means in Arabic is completely irrelevent.

If your offended because an English word sounds like an insult in another language, then you are so easily offended, offending you is no breach of ettiquette.
