RT recording problems

Does anyone know why I frequently find that recordings on RT don't work. After setting a recording I very often end up with just a black screen and no indication of a failed recording. This doesn't happen when I record any other channel. I have Sky Q but used to have the same problem on my previous HD box.

RT is the Russian propaganda channel disguised as a news channel.

got it, had a quick look, Putin, 4 hour press conference!!! No mention of Crimea or Ukraine!! I wonder why.

As for recording missed, not a clue, probably no prog id sent.

I have same problem and only on this channel no 512. Also if I leave the box on this channel for a good hour then the box freezes to this channel and totally unable to change channel or even enter the tv guide. It just stays to this channel and if i enter another number ie 101, nothing at all happens so I always end up doing the dreaded reset, plug out the wall routine, to reset and change channel.
I have reported it to Sky, but because Im getting near 100% signal on both iIputs they say there is nothing wrong and no one else has this issue.

In fact, Putin did reply to questions about Ukraine and Crimea as he has done in previous years but don't let me spoil your pre-conceived opinions. There is really no need to bring politics into what is a technical question.

Yes I've had the freezing as well. It's very strange. I'll report it to Sky as well so they know that there's more than one person with the problem! It must surely be affecting large numbers of RT viewers on Sky.
