I was the first person to suggest it was Jenna Russell, but that was before the photo was added to WW a few days ago. It really didn't look like Jenna in that snap.

If it is true I'm not sure how I feel. Jenna Russell is perfect for EE. But the character of Michelle Fowler is a big risk.

A very bold decision by the producers, even though I WASN'T EVEN BORN when Michelle left, I HAVE watched quite a few episodes of when she was originally in it, I have a feeling it won't feel the same with this new actress.

I'm trying to think of a comparison with another character from British soap but there isn't one to make. I can't think of a time when such an iconic character has been recast.

I'm pleased about this, Susan has made it very clear she would not return so a recast makes sense.
