It was old 6 years ago. One of Corrie's many problems in recent years has been their constant recycling of storylines.

What I can't believe is that Georgia Taylor was supposedly tempted back by a fantastic storyline and this was it.

I don't think we're getting the same sort of long-range spoilers Blackburn's ship used to give us. Like Faye's pregnancy announced a year in advance

I'd like to hope we are in the dark about the bulk of 2017's meat storyline wise.

Yeah I think for better or worse Kate Oates likes a faster pace than snail Blackburn and I imagine she will have a lot planned with a few long running arcs to counterbalance it.

I still think there's more classic Corrie heart in the show now than there was last year, but there is a long way to go before it is back to its best. To be fair to her she had one hell of a mess to clear up - the entire foundations of the show were in a mess when she joined.
