Has it been confirmed? I've see it on twitter that she's died but nothing in the news channels yet
TMZ, Hollywood Reporter, People, etc etc etc all reporting it

It's on Facebook she has died but that's just rumours

We need her for the new Star Wars.

I'm so sad, had tickets to the 8 Out Of 10 Cats show she appeared on just a couple weeks ago but couldn't make it, that was my only chance to see her in person

RIP, was a truly funny and wacky woman, hopefully she's bringing the laughs in a better place.

This is mental. It's just death after death after death of well known celebrities.

The BBC just ran their obituary

.Obviously had it ready to transmit at a moments notice just in case and unfortunately it was needed

Wonder how they will address this in Episode 8 (and potentially 9) as they are still filming

Episode 8 has wrapped filming. But I'm assuming if they haven't killed Leia off in the actual script of Episode 8, then she has an off screen death. I think CGI Leia/re-cast would be seen as in too poor taste.

Yeah, i think it would be too soon for anything like that.
