Moira sleeping with Pete is nasty, but I'm so happy Moira isn't letting Cain put her down or slutshame her. Him using Holly as his way to shame her was so wrong. I'm glad Moira got to call him out on moving on and in and nearly to France with Charity, Charity humilating Moira every chance she could, and Moira having to take it. Cain can't handle it when it's the other way around.

Even through all the mess, Cain and Moira are one of the best couples on Emmerdale. Can't wait for the proper reunion, their explosively getting back together.

Yes but what's the betting Moira will end up pregnant and she won't be sure who the father is because she shagged Pete and has now ended up shagging Cain.

I will be surprised if this doesn't happen. Pete will proberly be the father.

Of course she will. Will Cain stand by her, or do a runner? Moira has encouraged Cain to be a father to Kyle. She took Charity and her brood to her home when Cain brought her in. Will Cain be able to handle it, if Moira has Pete's child?

Yes, because if you're going to have sex with two men in two days, obviously you're not going to bother with contraception.

The state Moiras been in, I'd be amazed if she used contraception.

What stopped Pete or Cain though? Especially with Cain's history, you'd think he'd wrap it up.

They just ooze love etc etc. They are the best soap coupe for a long time. Moira makes Cain feel vulnerable at times and I love to see this side of him. She knows how to play him, more so than Charity these days. They are good for each other and should be together. I only hope Cain can wipe the Pete thing from his mind and just get back with her.

He needs to get over his ego. At least he didn't walk in on Moira and Pete. Moira still might have that image of Charity and Cain in her brain.

It's all a bit grim. I love ED but not a fan of this Peter/grubby Moira/Cain triangle.

Moira and Cain are the hottest couple in soap right now, they just ooze that beautiful chemistry. He totally worships her, knows she's screwed up at the moment, and will forgive her anything to keep her - - - - What a man!

I doubt it. That would finish Cain and Moira for good and i don't think TBTB will do that, despite all of the recent ugliness between them. Besides, Cain already knows about Moira/Pete sleeping together so there would be no drama in him not knowing their secret and assuming the baby was his for months on end, etc. Surely he would just demand a prenatal paternity test and that would be it, mystery solved.

If there is a DNA test, let's just hope they don't use one of the baby's unwashed socks!

I don't think their will be a whose the daddy story as Moira has uncharacteristically come clean about it very early.

With quite a few of us thinking about yet another baby scandal has anyone thought that maybe Moira would be too old for having a baby? I know women have children later these days but is Moira past that age? Saying this my mum had me at the age of 43 back in the mid 50s. I was a twin and my mum sadly lost my twin early in the pregnancy and her Dr kept telling her she was silly for thinking she was still pregnant. During my school days my parents looked like grandparents at school dos etc

She is 45 so is young enough to have kids.

I quite agree but men never seem to take responsibilty for birth control in soaps. And, to be fair, Pete wasn't expecting sex so unless he carries some in his wallet or pocket as a matter of course, he wouldn't have any on him.

Jesus, if Cain and Moira are one of the best couples on the show, then it says a lot for what a mess the show is in, doesn't it?

They may ooze chemistry (do they?), but the writing is awful. Not a couple I can root for when such atrocious writing is involved and the classic bored-to-tears on and off relationship that lazy writers love.

It's a sad state for ED, but which couple is written well? All they're horrible. The actors playing Cain and Moira bring it, and I think them getting back together is soapishly believable.

A family friend of ours is 50 and has a 5 week old daughter, it was completely natural and unplanned, so yes it's perfectly possible.

They are two of the strongest in this horrible story-line and I do most sincerely hope there is no pregnancy.

That's exactly my point - the show is a mess and the relationships are in an even worse state.

The actors can only do so much, unfortunately.
