I have a dual sim phone but apps only pick up on the Primary Sim Slot 1 on my dual SIM S7. For example if I have Vodafone in my sim slot 2 the My Vodafone app doesn't pick up the Vodafone sim in slot 2 unless I manually disable EE in sim slot 1.

Other phones may behave differently.

When used on my Honor 7, OpenSignal cheerfully logged 4G as O2 when it was actually the EE SIM in the other slot that was providing data. O2 only had 2G in the area.

I don't think it will work the way you expect, and any results should be viewed with caution.
