The end scene with Sharon was good but other than that what a load of rubbish. These episodes are basically summer filler, this has got to be one of the worst build up to christmas

I thought that was a fantastic episode. The Lou, Ethel, Pauline voiceovers, the mention of Kelvin and the banned. The shows going back to its roots and is way ahead of boring corrie imo

Give Jenna Russell a chance, Susan Tully is done with acting, so they had no choice but to recast. That end scene was great in an otherwise very poor Christmas season for EE.

Since September, Corrie has has Micheal killed off and a car crash with two explosion, Caz faking her death, Maria's sentancing, Phelen's attack and more.

EastEnders has had nothing more than seriously long long long drawn out stories.

Really. Don't know what your watching as I'm loving SOCs EastEnders. Thoes scenes with Dot. Phil and Denise and having the balls to recast Chelsea. So much better than DTC. Loving the interactions with the characters whoever thought a scene with Dot and Phil would take place leg alone work.

Why would Ian be upset

He would easily recognise her as Jenna Russell from the drama Born and Bred which also starred Michael French who played David Wicks in Eastenders

Some fabulous scenes tonight. Dot was the star....That tape from Hev, the voices of Jim and Ethel and Pauline and her relenting over the stray cat. So sad that no one turned up for her party

Denise and Phil made me laugh. I hope that made her even more determined never to tell him.
