Detective Comics Entertainment (or expanded as some have it) Universe does not include Rogue One/Star Wars so it still does not make sense?

Depends on the franchise. Star Wars is an epic saga, and is my No 1 space film, Fast and Furious is another with characters I can get emotionally attached to - RIP Paul
, same with Underworld with Selene the world sexist Vampire. And Resident Evil with Alice, then there is Vampire killing Blade - hope there is one more Blade film as Blade 3 was just dire.

I was just having some fun on the idea that alot of fans dismiss RT because of the so called bias. |

As far as Star Wars is concerned start on Episode IV and watch them from there. If you have time watch Rogue One first but it's not required at all.
Skip the prequals as they're childish, pathetic and utterly embarrassing. How George Lucas got away with that drivel I'll never know! I watched Episode I The Phantom Menace in the cinema and you could hear people muttering about how bad it was, some even walked out. |

I actually like the prequels. They aren't as good as the original trilogy but they are still good films. I don't think they are as terrible as people make them out to be. I'm not saying they are amazing or anything, but they aren't terrible. I actually think Revenge of the Sith is close to being as good as Return of the Jedi.

I think my problem with them is down to Lucas knowing better than everybody else and not listening to feedback on Jar Jar who just ruined the movies. As somebody mentioned on page 1 it was mostly let down by the script, they had a good cast and the ideas were there. I've also been told if you watch them as a stand alone entity and forget they are Star Wars and everything that went before they are actually quite good. |

I don't watch Marvel or any of that drivel, I've not seen any of LOTR or Harry Potter. Star Wars - I went through the whole experience from when they were released, the prequels - dire, and this year's offering. I'm done with it now.
If anybody wants a good series that's only 4 seasons long - Rectify has just finished for good (it was only going to be 4 series so had a proper ending), it's well worth investing in the time. The acting is superb - it's a slow boiler, a thinking man's series. Beautiful TV, probably the best I've ever seen. Another worth investing time in is The Newsroom - only 3 series, written by Aaron Sorkin. Witty and political, it's a very good watch and stars the fantastic Jeff Daniels. |
