I can't remember the name of the brand exactly but the Co-op INSIST on selling a brand of Thai noodle pot noodle Style snacks that're sihite (one of them left a nasty lingering taste in my mouth) that I had to wash away with a can of lager).

Anybody think of other examples?

Maybe there's lots of other people that do like these things?

Though on a similar note, I understand there's some serious altercations going on in the Great Cup-a-Soup Controversy.

Kingsfood (formerly Lancaster) tinned hot dog sausages in brine. They are absolutely vile. I think they're mostly bought for dogs, rather than for human consumption, though.

Some Polish meats are a bit dodgy IMO. Not up to German standards.

Corned beef. It's not too bad in mash, but otherwise, no.

Some tinned hams.

Squid. A bit like eating fried rubber.

I didn't think I was too much of a food fad, but let's just say with some of the more exotic food you can get these days, I'm beginning to doubt that.

Apparently, you can buy tinned or dried insects and rattlesnake in some places these days. I think I'll definitely give the former a miss.

And the Russian Roulette of food.
