In 20 years time we will have been long back in the EU. The geriatric pensioners that took us out this time will be long gone.
For now we can oppose by:
- supporting pro EU politicians
Anna Soubry for the Conservatives
David Lammy / Chukka Ummunna
the Lib Dems
the Greens
- joining pro EU unions (eg the GMB has offices in Brussels and is strongly pro EU)
- make every single vote (municipal, council, etc) dependent on the attitude of the candidate to the EU
on forums
- reminding everyone that we are owed 350'000'000 a week on the NHS and asking where the money is
- pointing out the ineffable incompetence of the May government and her three feeble musketeers - their infighting helps us Remainers muchly I must say
- highlighting the dubious actions of Farage - also a great help to us Remainers when the chief Leaver reputedly has acquired a German passport since the vote or plans to emigrate to the US
on a day to day basis:
- boycotting the DM/ Murdoch press / Wetherspoons / Dyson products / any British product associated with Leave
- holidaying in placesin the UK only if they have voted to Remain
- not going to parts of the country that have voted Leave.
- giving charity money to local projects supporting Remain areas only
and of course most important of all:
- asking for a referendum on the exit terms - so we don't leave at all in the first place.
Recent surveys have shown that Leave voters would not tolerate being even 100 pounds worse off.
There is no mandate for poverty / hard Brexit and there never will be. Heading towards a hard Brexit is the best chance we have of not exiting at all. .
