You've been down their ragbag, haven't you.

It merely indicates 8-9m more people voted this time, where is it a proven fact that a large number of people switched sides?

Remain vote in 1975 17.5m in 2016 16.1m a difference of mere 1.4m.....where is your evidence of a mass switch of votes....do you have figures....are you suggesting the 8m-9m additional voters chose terra firma?

No, anybody with their eyes open can see right through their tattered morality to the unpleasantness that lurks underneath!

Theresa May should look closer to home, Johnson saw the referendum as an opportunity to become Prime Minister, Gove stitched him up. Various leaks from within her cabinet undermining each other.

She's had to slap down on a regular basis her three main exit Ministers, she was humiliated by Liam Fox's buddy Nigel Farage and then calls on the country to unite...

Meanwhile at a party somewhere in London, a Mr Gove was given the cold shoulder by fellow Tory Leave MPs.

May can go boil her face.

She's nailed her flag firmly to the petty Europhobes' mast, so she can swing from it. The car may well roll of the clifftop, but don't expect the perceptive demographic to help push it.

At what point do these silly appeals for patriotic "unity" actually morph into "agree with whatever I say or want to do or expect to find your yourself in a demographic or section of the population we will hammer for not agreeing with my concept of unityspeak"

So you're suggesting that the increased leave vote was almost entirely caused by an increase in turnout - pull the other one.
It is really obvious that the young people of 1975 who voted solidly for remain had switched to solidly pro leave.
In fact, there has been mass immigration since 1975, and a majority of immigrants voted remain, so an even higher percentage of 1975 remainers must have switched.

You make a very good point. Her 'do as I say' attitude stinks of arrogance and petulance. As far as I am concerned she can get stuffed.

Like I posted before. On a wind up.

How can anyone take this crap seriously?

When she became PM I thought she would be far more preferable than the hard line Brexit candidates but she has indeed proved herself to be just as hard line. How can she talk about wanting to unify when she has constantly dismissed nearly half the voters who want to remain in the EU. She keeps saying the "British people have decided to leave". No, they haven't- some have. She seems determined to bring the country to a car crash ending to satisfy those who had only a small majority. She needs to think up a compromise solution, not be hell-bent on a path leading to massive damage to the UK economy and people's lives and jobs.

Can we all unify around the fact that May and her cohorts are completly incompetent?

Again I ask what actual factual evidence is that nonsense based on?

The number of registered voters in 1975 40m in 2016 46m so you are suggesting British born nationals have had no children in the 40 years since 1975. EU nationals were barred from the referendum vote.

Just face facts, you haven't a clue and neither do I or maybe you were one those from MI5 who supposedly went round changing votes to Remain.

How can the country unite behind her scheme to expand grammar schools for a small minority of pupils while damaging the schools vast majority (millions) of pupils attend?.
