A sign of bad luck for Dot?

Agree, was a brill episode. It's so refreshing from the usual cliched, soapy crap we've had to endure the past few years

It was a great episode considering what EE is like now.

I loved how this is the first Christmas where we aren't waiting for a big reveal, in recent years the Christmas Eve episode has always been a build up to the big day and lots of filler and non events. Tonight it felt like a proper old Christmas Eve episode in its own right, the Dot stuff was just bloody fantastic. Some of my favorite scenes of the year, bringing back Hev on the tape was genius, and the voices of Lou, Ethel, Jim and Pauline was very poignant and fitted in well with the episode. I did also love Denise and Phil's chat and then of course Michelle at the end was a great duff duff.

Brill episode. Really wish Michelle's return wasn't leaked and came out of the blue 😠

I think from Tuesday EE has been brilliant

loved the ep but the fact that not a single person came to Dots leaving party just seems like crap writing to me. Every single person she knows just forgot or didn't bother? really? Including Patrick who has been worrying over her in every episode...

Yup soap nonsense again I'm in the minority here clearly in thinking the episode was awful with this being one of the main reasons. Still thrilled with a Michelle return and so a little bit hopeful or interested at least for the future.

I thought it was bad luck.
