Anyone get any great bargains today?
Managed to pick up a large chicken that you bung straight in the oven in it's bag from co op today for £1.30. Use by 25th so cooked it up, fed 2 of us then shredded the rest and put in a freezer bag.
Would like to have gone to Waitrose before they closed but couldn't face the hoards in town. Anyone get anything good? |

Yes, a better deal on Baxter's soups - 69p a can instead of the usual £1.09 - double

Don't like turkey but got a 6lb corn fed chicken for just under £8. Cooked it yesterday. Sampled some of it and so much tastier than cheapo chicken.

They're dyslexic. PS what's the difference between a "friend" and a friend? |
