I love Christmas. But seeing people rushing about trying to get everything ready for the big day just because your relatives are coming or that you want to make it special. And why buy food that you eat once a year

I think that's part of the fun of it. People getting stressed, rushing around doing things last minute, it's kind of cute when you think people are doing this for each other.

The waiting. Had Christmas morning with presents going to Christmas dinner soon but now just doing nothing around the house, well besides wasting time on DS

Tv, it's pretty awful. It's not hard to get away from though so it's really just a minor annoyance.

Maybe when people don't take part in bauble-making workshops.

Waking up ridiculously early, but then again I get an hour or two of quiet contemplation before the chaos starts . Have a good day everyone

The shops jammed full of people trying to buy 23 pints of milk because the shops are closed for one day.

I hate this too, i shouldn't have to put up with it anymore but i can guarantee that my brother and his wife will be down in a few hours to make sure i'm awake.

I don't even know what i am still doing being up to be honest, they will be around in a few hours

Yep this - it's the bloody same if we get a half inch of snow too

Christmas is FAR TOO COMMERCIAL these days & it really does seem to start earlier every year...

Merry Christmas all ....

Whatever food I buy, I generally only eat it once.

i went into town yesterday, to get some socks as I realised I only had two pairs left and it was pretty quiet to be honest, this was about 4ish, even the local retail market was packing up and they normally packs up around 5.30.
Even the car park was emptyish, I saw my next door neighbour in town and he gave me a lift home, which is how I know about the carpark.

Friday was mad, I was working and when i popped out onto the shop floor, it was crazy.

the most annoying thing is it all starts too early, I know working in retail we need to plan ahead, but do christmas for joe public really need to start in September?

People who complain about people who start threads on forums.

On a serious note.. the meltdowns. Saw so many this year in various shops. It's just another day on another weekend people. Christmas isn't ruined if you can't get that one food item.

The three-month build up -- for what - just one day. Is this three month build-up really necessary? This build-up is just something that has recently been adopted a few years back nothing much happened before December 1st.

Soon after Christmas we will see Easter items like Easter eggs in the shops, again why?
