Will this be SOCs chance to axe the character or recast him again if he's going with Linda? Still can't take to Ted. Don't think he's improved since he started.

No - Obviously Linda couldn't leave on her own in the state she was in and it was obvious EE wasn't going to lose Mick for a couple of weeks over Xmas - especially with Lee's departure coming up - so Johnny was the obvious choice to go with Linda - He'll be back (with the same head) as soon as Linda decides to look after Elaine for the next six-month

Probably not, more's the pity! What a completely pointless recast this turned out to be. He's done NOTHING whatsoever of note since he came back.

What the hell was DTC thinking? Surely if you go to the trouble of not only bringing back a character but actually recasting them aswell it must be because you've a major story arc planned for them??

Or if not that, maybe it's just you feel that a family that already has 27 people in it needs that 1 more person just because you brought the family in in the first place and are ever so slightly obsessed with them!!

When does Ted's contract come up for renewal?

He was on my train last week on the London bound train from Elstree- he must be back filming but he is dreadful.

Recasted back to MyJohnny would be very welcome. Ted is appauling.

I don't get why they bothered recasting without a proper story, he could easily have stayed gone and just been happy in Italy. More to the point I don't know how htey cast him in good faith anyway, he can't even act when he's standing still doing nothing!
