This is the first Christmas where i have managed not to hear the usual Christmas songs we have to hear every year. And it is such a relief not to listen to Shakin Stevens, Slade and Wizzard

Yes, I've managed to avoid it too. Would much rather listen to this than Christmas songs.

I have to work in various shops doing repairs so have been bombarded with them. But It's when you're in these places for a length of time that you realise the same handful of songs are on a loop.

I don't mind them at all to be honest, they are tuney and singalongable Mind you, I haven't heard that many yet - it tends to get worse towards New Year when it's party time!

Yes, and i'm putting it up there with one of my greatest achievements . I'm sure i will hear a whole load of these crappy songs in the next few days but it's been great to avoid them for once up to now.

Through lots of channel switching, I've managed to avoid Pathetic McCartney having his wonderful christmas time, and Michael Bubbly droning on saying its christmas. The only Xmas songs I like is a Bette Midler's "Somewhere in my Memory", and Josh Groban's "Silent Night" - two songs which are rarely, if ever, played on radio.

I managed to avoid them apart from one or two occasions where I had to listen to them. They are so annoying!

I thought I'd got away with it, but on my home from work last night I switched channels and got an attack of Slade for a few seconds, later on I was rushed to hospital when I went down with 'silent night'
