I was just listening to this -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fblAbPWfNew
Utterly beautiful and one of the very last times we saw Michael in The Armchair of Doom.
The character was solely due to the input of SJS (and not TPTB who wanted him originally to be just another serial bed-hopper) and he acted the part beautifully.
The Sith Lord read people like a human MRI machine and his razor-sharp intelligence, forensic one liners, screen presence and the habit of stalking around the square like emaciated Praying mantis made him totally unique in the history of the show.
He could have been truly iconic - not since Lou Beale has a character made such an impact on me in such a space of time.
I miss him.
Anyone else?
