You will be lucky to find anywere open selling turkeys today, plus even if you did it would be frozen so to late to defrost, and no one wants food poisoning

If you have a petrol station near you that has a Tesco or whatever attached to it, and it's open today you might get one from there?

Unless you get a fresh one obviously.

You might have luck with a farm shop where the farm is on site but I doubt they would want to be disturbed by people on Christmas Day. Stick an appeal on twitter or Facebook. Someone might have bought a spare and you could buy it off them.

So you've managed t get o 09:21 on Xmas Day to discover you didn't buy a Turkey. I didn't realise Trolls ate turkey. Maybe you should ask your family to bring one, or since you've probably forgotten the veg, I can't even suggest a vegetarian meal. If you have pasta in the cupboard, cheese and milk then you're sorted.

Of course, you'll have forgotten to by pots and pans, plates, cutlery..............

Better luck with posting next Christmas - you'll have whole year to think of something better!

I didn't realise it was Christmas.
So that's why the dog is wearing a Santa hat!

If no turkeys available the OP could try duck? The problem is though if the OP's guests don't like duck then they are rather stuck.

I'd still be content with a turkey-less Christmas lunch as long as I had plenty chipalatas, stuffing, gravy, carrots, parsnips, carrots and potatoes on my plate.

QUICK!!! Set fire to your house! When the guests arrive apologize and explain the house burnt down or kitchen and all the food is burnt. They will take pity and gather what resources they have together and invite you to theirs for Christmas dinner.

In addition to not having to feed anyone, if you are clever you could get a hefty cheque from the insurance company.

You do know it's possible to get a fresh turkey? Perhaps not on Christmas Day but it's possible when shops are open.
