So lets see.
1) The company that I work for has to go up north to find young workers who couldn't be bothered to come south to find work for themselves.
On the other hand young Eastern European workers decided for themselves to come to the UK with little or no money and look for work without any help from anyone.
Who do you think that would make the better employee.
2) Most of the older workforce in the north a family men and women who cannot afford to move their families south do to house prices in the south.
So it is impossible for them to do what you are saying.
3) There is a significant shortage of indigenous young workers (now and in the immediate future) in this country due to the low birth rate in the 90's and most of the 2000's.
This gap needs to be filled from somewhere.
