Corrie - just embarrassing. 12 years off screen but Kate Oates could not have cocked up Toyah's return any harder. Such a legacy character and great actress deserved so much better. Half the cast were missing. There was no real festive atmosphere, in fact there was no atmosphere at all. Peter/Nick was briefly entertaining, and I enjoyed the oldies and Mary. But that's about it.
EastEnders - never thought I'd say this but show is far too warm nowadays! Yes, it badly needed warming up but as usual, they've gone from one extreme to the other. There were some nice touches but overall, it was too much filler. Also the continuity was bonkers - it started really early in the morning when it was dark, then at one point skipped straight to night, so the whole episode was in the dark - including the Vic power cut! Lee's arrest and Max's comeback were the only real highlights, but these both happened in the last two minutes. Stax feels like the EE of a very long time ago. Average.
Emmerdale - quite good, certainly the best of a bad bunch. Nicola and Elliot bonding was so sweet, as well as deliciously ironic!

The lad who plays him is just so adorable, hope they make more of him. The snow was actually real, which did add to the atmosphere! Joanie did the right thing. I really felt for her actually. Zak has no-one to blame but himself and the ending was suitably bittersweet! An okay episode, enjoyed it more than the other two certainly.
