Please get over yourself. Your whining and aggressive attitude is driving posters off this forum.

Can't you stop defending EE for one day? Why do you feel the need to respond to every negative comment about it. It's tiresome and unnecessary.

I voted EE as best Christmas soap. Doesn't mean I have to now go around being aggressive to other FMs because they didn't. Just grow up a bit.
I haven't been aggressive and it's not me that is the reason others are leaving. I disliked EE under DTC's tenure I am enjoying it at the moment am I not allowed to express my opinion on other soaps that I might not be liking at the moment?

EastEnders would win whether its excellent, good, bad or piss poor. The fact some vote in the poll before the ep has aired tells you all you need to know.
People do that with all soaps stop generalising.

Perhaps, but its most often a few EE fans. I've been on this forum for a good few years now, and it happens every year.

EastEnders has more fans on this forum than any other soap, so naturally the vote should dictate EE the winner most of the time.

Well, I am not defending EE when I say this in-case someone decides to judge me on everything I write again. But from what I've seen anyway I think there is a higher amount of EE users than Emmerdale or Corrie could be that.

Does it?

In the DS readers poll - ED & HO were 1st & 2nd in practically every category.

Where were the EE fans for that vote?

Eastenders for me. Way better than the last two years. No gimmicks, just a great community spirit. Nothing too dramatic happened but I still loved it

EastEnders. The episodes have been fantastic. Enough drama but created by the writing and directing. It has really shown up the other soaps. Well done

I only watch EastEnders so I don't see the point in voting for stuff like that because it would be a bias vote.

Corrie just edged it for me - it had drama, humour and a couple of beautiful moments with Max and Chloe talking on the toy phone to Kylie in heaven and Mary reunited with her son.

I liked EE as for once we had a feel good episode and the seeds now sown for some drama this week with Lee and Max and of course R+R.

ED - it was a bit low key, fake (ffs it doesn't snow on Xmas Day) and schmaltzy.
Apparently when they filmed it was snowing. They are quite high up I think, so it's s not impossible - we've had snow on the nearby hills on and off for weeks. I don't t think it was fake - at times you could see the surrounding countryside was covered. They were just lucky. I found ED refreshingly low key and cheery. A nice change for Christmas.

Perhaps because I don't come onto the soap forum that much. Shock horror

There are way more EE threads on this forum, so that suggests more EE viewers on here.

It doesn't. Those of us of us who watch other soaps prefer to keep our discussions to a few longish threads rather than bombard the forum with lots of little ones. And if you look at the EE threads you'll see a lot of them are on the same subject with the same people saying the same things over and over again.

Yep, this is absolutely true. But that's as much about weak moderation as it is about over-zealous EE fans.

Why is it always "EE Fans" why do many people have an issue with this part of the community?

For reasons previously expressed - they are over-zealous, fanatical and feel the need to start constant threads about any old tosh, usually several of them about the same thing.
