Depends, some have good and bad points.
I liked Phil Collinson's first six months or so. I liked Kim Crowther for the Tony Gordon storyline. |

DTC was great at first but did become too sensational.
Oates - I liked at ED but cannot comment on CS as I don't watch The Hat - Again great on ED but cannot comment on CS SOCk - Brilliant at the moment - hopefully wont do a DTC has brought EE back to the heydays of the 80's Birkwood - Don't like his shtick but it works for HO and long may he reign The HO Guy at EE - Loving hos stuff with Ashley Oliver Kent - not watched Cas and HC for a while now and not interested hope he doesn't exert too much influence on SOCk |

Stuart Blackburn - ED (11 April 2011 – 4 April 2013) and CS (8 April 2013 – 12 August 2016)
I honestly cannot imagine him being good at anything! |

Was he really that good on ED? He was terrible on Corrie! We had nothing for the first 5 months of the year besides a story of Carla sleeping with Robert which lasted nearly half a year with no changes, Simon hurting his mother which had no actual end and two terrible 'issue-lead' stories (oh and 90% of scenes were cringy comedy) That has got to be the worst era of any soap ever!

It does seem to be the obsessional hobby of some on here that they must constantly whine about soap producers that's for sure.

The only soap bigwig I moan about is Kieran Roberts who is the Executive Producer at Coronation Street.

Not many away from DS even know who the producers are, let alone their names.

SOC for me, totally making Eastenders watchable again, Character Driven storylines, rather than storylines happening for no apparent reason
