Well it has to be Ashley Thomas and his Dementia storyline. He has been incredible and the performances from Laurel and Arthur have also been fantastic

When did that happen? I have only been watching since July. (UK pace)

The bin collections in EE had me gripped.

These bin jokes are rubbish

How could i have forgotten that amazing storyline

The performances from the cast were superb. And im surprised they never did another storyline of the bin collections as they were best episodes we have had in a long time

Not sure exactly when, maybe May or June? I think it was one of the best soap disasters of all time. The aftermath was really good and had a long lasting impact whereas most soap disasters are quickly forgotten about. Also, two main characters died and no extras 😝

My choices are:

Emmerdale
- Ashley's dementia
- Holly's death because it was so unexpected.

Coronation Street
- Kylie's death episode

Eastenders
- Stacey's journey to recovery after her bipolar relapse

Hollyoaks
- Silas' return climaxing in him killing the Gloved Hand Killer
- The downfall of Joanne
