Here's the link to the message that was sent to me by Ann Mitchell this morning. I did post it on the Cora thread this morning.

I have to admit I'm getting fed up with returns that are just for a few episodes.

It's more natural to have relatives visit than have them move in out of the blue. It works well for Sal, Libby and Jean.

Yeah I agree with that. i have said as much in Vaslavs thread before, she doesnt need to be a full time character. i would leave her in Dalston and have her pop up every now and then. Its makes it more realistic and why would she move now she has a stable roof over her head

I agree with you to a degree, but I feel DTC did it so often as SOC seems to be following first Derek then this one, how many more? Difficult to get excited about a temporary return unless the storyline really needs it. When Christian came back for Jane and Ian's wedding he did sod all of any consequence at all. I did like it when he came back for Lucy's funeral as he was really needed and they gave him something to do, but the wedding he did b***** all.

Ann is 78 in April so it could depend on what she can do work wise.

I just think it's unnatural when relatives never visit, especially when they don't live too far away. Even weddings and funerals don't tempt them back. Cora hasn't even popped over to see her first great grandchild.
Then there's Kathy...why hasn't she got on the train to visit Lexi...unnatural.

Not really I know plenty who never see relatives or go to family occasions, its really not as uncommon as you think.

Kathy's never met Lexi or Lola so doubt she just gonna rock up.

It's always been the case though vas. Once someone leaves they are never seen again which doesn't happen IRL.

Exactly, Cora's relationship with the fmaily wasn't always the best, perhaps she is enjoying a fresh new start. Family relationships are so complex and unique to each case really.

Not sure why you continue to run with this when it isn't true. This information was posted on Walford Web using that same source as a reference. It wasn't the origin of the so called spoiler.

But yes, you're mistaken I'm afraid.

Cora was very much paet of the Branning fold after Tanya's cancer diagnosis and she also enjoyed a fairly close relationship with Lauren & Abi at that point.

Regarding this person on WW, he was correct about Michelle and also about Denise & Kim's Mum arriving and I know Ann Mitchell would love a return to the show, for me Cora still has a place on the show.

I'd love to see Cora back, at least now and again. With both her granddaughters on the square, it would make sense for to be an occasional returnee.
