Wow. How lucky is Phil to get another liver after he was offered one a few weeks ago

This is the second time, King Phil will live on.

I'm surprised he managed to get one that quickly. Surely there's loads of people on the list for a liver transplant...

He said tonight he was the backup both times. Basically they call a few people in and whoever is higher on the list and the right match gets it

Yes but he will have been quite high up the list due to him being on deaths door. Plus its not a one size fits all thing

There are loads on the list but it goes by case. So you might be very ill and been on the list for ages but might get an infection so can't have the liver. Depends on the liver as well -is it comparable?

Also who you are matters. Kush for example probably would have a harder time finding a compatible dead sponsor because he's of mixed British /Iranian (?) heritage

It's like he gets one offered on a whim

I doubt that would matter (or are you being racist?)

It is actually factually correct.

For some reason, people of ethinucity, and especially mixed race, have to wait longer for transplants. Not because Caucasians are prioritised, but because of a lack of compatible oegans.

Mixed ethnicity is definitely a problem when looking for a matching bone marrow donor. It's probably less so for livers.

He is the walking pile of excrement TBTB worship as their little bald God.

What did anyone expect?

Realism?

True pain?

No.

The outcome of this storyline was as inevitable as the The First Council of Nicaea when all the inconvenient secular truths were brushed under the carpet and led to the deaths of millions in subsequent centuries.

Bah!

Humbug!

Why does he need a new liver anyway? Philth has superhuman healing powers, he could beat terminal cancer if he had to!

Can you stop bleating racism at every post on this forum please?

No one is being racist, if anything you come across as immature.

Merry Christmas

Best part of the episode by far Phil getting his new liver, hopefully he will pull through and get well on the road to recovery and all the moping about waiting to die nonsense can be forgotten, all bodes well for 2017 in true soap tradition Phil should be up and about within a couple of weeks and ruling the roost.
