ITs a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx”

Didn't realise he was still his partner, I thought they had split up ages ago.

His heyday was before my time but that didn't stop me becoming a fan of his. Truly saddened by the news. I had a feeling earlier this year (just after Prince's death) that George's time might be up soon - the amount of health problems he has reportedly had over the past 10 years didn't look good for him.

Out of all the deaths this year, George's has hit me the most. I have been thinking about his music all day. Most of it was sublime.

If someone makes a donation anonymously what part of that don't you understand you publicity seeking b**ch?

How dare you use the death of someone else to push yourself!

Probably because there will be people of the opposite opinion regarding his generosity etc, etc around that will no doubt come out of the woodwork seeking publicity. I would agree with you if George was still alive but after his death not. It is, after all positive information about a person, for a change.

Richard Osman also tweeted about an anonymous donation George made, so I suppose he's a publicity-seeking b*tch as well...

What I do not understand is that the George Michael website has no mention of his passing, bizarre to me when the whole world is aware. One main title actually still states "Some News From George"

I feel so deeply sad. I'm not into music, I just buy what I hear and like. I loved him through his tribulations and he was developing into a great artist. On Symphonica his delivery of ''Let Her Down Easy'' is so very tender I could have cried when I first heard it and I have tears now.

I'm 20 years older than him.

You went far too soon George. xx

Is that the Symphonica one? It's why I bought the CD. I was mesmerised. Thank you.

Of all the celeb deaths this year, this one has one has cut me up the most, for two reasons. Firstly, he is... or rather was (I hate having to use the past tense when referring to George Michael) the same age as my mum, and when look at and think about my mum she (I hope) has thirty to forty years left in her, and I always assumed it would be the same for George Michael. Secondly, I am thirty one years old, but I was and still a great fan of his music all the way back to my mid teenage years.

When the news of George's death broke on Christmas Day it didn't fully register in my thoughts. However, as Boxing Day rolled on, and even now his upsetting me more and more.

He did so much good in his life, things that nobody knew about until he died. A truly good man who despite his own demons, stood up for those less fortunate than himself.

If there's a heaven, surely he's there.

RIP dear George.

It sounds like his partner either found him or woke up to find him gone.what a horrible thing for him to experience ..Georges passing has really upset me more than many in a long time.what a wonderful and compassionate man he was.incredible talent but so sensitive and troubled.I cant get out of my head on the news report they said that the fairy lights on his house were suddenly switched off at about lunchtime.so so sad.

My wife is a big fan of one of Georges friends,
After hearing of his death she went on one of this high profile persons forums, now, some don't like this person, he's done nothing wrong, in fact the opposite
...the hateful things people say about this person, say they'd rather see him dead instead of GM...unbelievable.

It seems like his boyfriend has already sold him out by speaking to the press about his heroin addiction and other private things. It didn't take him long.

If true this is very sad. George spoke in the past about being paranoid and fearing that people (partners) only loved him because of his money/fame.
This is a real slap in the face. Hope it's not so ... if it is, what a weasel!

That strange tweet from him yesterday though makes me fear the worst!

I saw that. Very disappointed - George didn't deserve that kind of disloyalty.

Indeed. He was such a private person that this is very disrespectful to his memory.

What has she done that is so bad ? The man is dead what her and others have done now he is dead is not remain silent they have added to his memory by letting people know what a kind man he was and without wanting publicity (a silence they did keep at his request whilst alive) .

Are all the others who have kept their silence during his life but have now spoken of his generosity and kindness publicity seeking bitches ? They to my mind have done him a great service not let him down.

If you want to call anyone a publicity seeking bitch try those now telling the press about a heroin addiction ??? before his body is even cold so to speak.

I was just listening to Careless from the '25 Tour' on YouTube

His voice still sounds has that silky smooth texture like the record, 24 years later

Should just point out, for those of you slamming the boyfriend, he only said to the newspapers that George died alone peacefully in bed. It was a DIFFERENT source in the same article that shifted blame to heroin, not the boyfriend:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...secret-heroin/

But yes, whoever that source is just awful for speculating and calling "heroin" with no proof of such.

Definitely out of order

I am not sure if this means this was the source or if he just commented as it had been said

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/george-mic...102740118.html

The news comes as PR chief Gary Farrow – a close friend of the ‘One More Try’ singer – told The Sun newspaper that “easy access to drugs” ultimately caused the death of the prolific talent.

A search for that article shows it has now been removed

'ACCESS TO DRUGS CAUSED DOWNFALL' George Michael’s close friend and PR chief Gary Farrow pays tribute to the troubled singer in heartbreaking interview and says he
https://www.thesun.co.uk/legal-remov...-pays-tribute/

It says legal removal in web address so I assume maybe Mr Farrow has taken The Sun to task over it .
