What's the source for that though? Equally he could have been off his face and raging and that could have been some other kind of crazy ( There are easier ways to kill yourself. Equally i find it hard to believe that he was just closing a door properly at 70mph as per his PR after the event.)

I had a look at it, after trumpeting what might just be due process by the cops-questioning him- they then end that article with:
"There is no suggestion the grieving stylist, who found George’s body, has done anything wrong or has any link to drugs."

Edit - at the base of your link there's another one claiming that he had changed his mind about having kids. Could just be rubbish from unnamed sources again.

To be fair, he just linked to a song that was already out there and had been available for anyone to listen to for years.

I'm still drinking at 11am, the time doesn't really matter. He might have been on a week long meltdown for all we know. If it is true I feel sorry for the guy and hope he doesn't do anything stupid himself.

It's better for all his family and partner if it isn't found to be suicide so hopefully this is incorrect.

I doubt a smack overdose would be that much more comforting to be honest.

One of my b.friend's partner killed himself years ago so having talked to her - it's pretty awful. Their kids are still scarred by it.
and another mate's gay partner hung himself a couple of years ago. So many "if - only's..." and some were simply blind-sided by it others felt they failed him, sort of survivors' guilt..

OTOH I know, indirectly, of addicts/alcoholics who've died, self-inflicted, where family accepts that addicts can't really be helped if they don't want it. They saw it coming over years and knew risk of OD etc was ever-present.

Why was Kenny Goss called to give the support to George in the weeks leading up to his death, that maybe his "partner" Fadi could have given?

It's obvious and simple what has happened.

The rags were reporting that a close friend of George said that he wasn't sure that Fadi was even in a relationship with George recently.

Fadi got wound up and questioned who is this so called friend? and spilled out the truth before either thinking the better of it or others advising him that it wasn't such a good idea, so he deleted his account.

Sadly, imo, what a lot of people were thinking is now known to be true.
Not the best way for it to come out (no pun intended) and Fadi is probably regretting his impulsive reaction.

He also told the media how he "suffered" and was "scarred" when his close friend Stephen Gately from Boyzone, was found dead in bed & released a picture of them cuddling together & tweets of how much he missed him.

Probably recording all those unreleased songs. I doubt it was his voice that was the issue, more likely the obesity why he didn't want to perform in recent years. Apparently he had plans for a comeback which I imagine would be once he lost weight.

All this business about possible fake tweets or hacked twitter account, previous suicide attempts etc is meaningless though it gives the media something to get their teeth into!

The postmortem was 'inconclusive' and further toxiology tests are being carried out and the results won't be known for 'several weeks'. The results may not be to everyones liking but at least it will be conclusive fact.

I just hope an honest, accurate verdict is come to. If it was an accidental death or an overdose, there is still some potential good to come out of this (raising awareness, etc.). It is important that an honest, accurate verdict is come to rather than one which is just more pleasing to the family.

When celebrities used to overdose and die on barbiturates decades ago, many of the cases were ruled as "accidental overdose" even though people were well aware, at least at some point after a few of the deaths, that the drugs were lethal if you took even just an extra 3 or 4, and yet people/celebrities were being found having taken 10+ and their deaths being recorded as an accidental OD. Maybe it made the family feel better but I don't think the investigation in to deaths should ever be anything but honest and accurate as possible. Otherwise we might never learn about how toxic some drugs are, or how safe some others are, etc. It is important for medicine and science that the investigations are all done properly and unbiased for progress to be made in the future.
