She looks like she could have played Mary the Punk.

At least we now know there are new characters on the way, and that according to him 2017 will be EE at its best. I just hope he can find a way to keep all viewers happy without being too sensationalist.”

Well I am staying open minded with Micheele but I like the way we have seen his work for months, seen the direction he is going and then he confirms it. Seems we can manage with having to be spoonfed info every 2 mins on whats going to happen.

He has made michelles return seem interesting so we shall see.

I am as well because he seems to know what he wants, seems to be able to make characters have depth and is taking his time about it. All very positive

Time to get back on topic, the thread is about Socks interview. Feel free to discuss it.

But I never said WW were breaking embargos, I said posters on here and there were intentionally doing it, massive difference

So Tomski posted about Cora in here in Vaslav's thread then the screenshots to WW but you got your info elsewhere. Ooh Ok then, Ann must have been messaging all and sundry to give them the news and its all a co-incidence. I never bad mouthed them either

As above can we get back on topic now

I have been heavily critical of Sean o'Connor's work so far, but the last week has been a bit more enjoyable, and the return of Michelle has definitely given the show scope for lots of interesting plots. I guess we will see the return of Mark Fowler junior soon.

This interview is very welcome as I've been very frustrated by his silence and the lack of new characters, but he seems very passionate about the show and he says there will be big stories and more people coming in in 2017. So I am willing to give him another chance. If by March we haven't seen any significant improvement, I will write him off as a dud producer.

I have been The opposite, enjoying his work so far but am very critical of the michelle move. Folk on here convinced me to give it a chance so I am.

I think giving till March is a good idea, the last few months have been about tying up dtc's stories and sowing the seeds for his work which I think he has done, he has also had to change the direction of the show, its once again an ensemble cast not just 4-12 members of cast per episode as it was under dtc.
