Looks like a Roxy / Max / Michelle love triangle culminating in a car crash caused by Lee. This, despite Max rejecting Roxy during the silly Derek Branning custody of Amy story.

It looked like a veil to me. I'am wondering if most of what we see is to leave people guessing. One thing that got me thinking is if Roxy did drown, and Ronnie fell off the staircase running to get to Roxy.
