Christmas Gas
Well... Nearly another year done and plenty of overindulgence which has resulted in quite alot of flatulence. Turkey is always a big trigger food for me
Anyone else been, farting like a trooper over this festive season?

Farting is good for you
My surgeon told me farting is a good sign your colon and bowel are working. If you don't fart in a 24 hour period it could be a sign you have a blockage. Fart away peeps apparently having a whiff not only staves off dementia but also latest reports say it may prevent strokes and heart attacks. All those time where my brother held me down and farted on me he was in fact looking out for my health

Yes, me too. Blame the sprouts though and not the turkey. One good thing is you can watch what you want on telly as everyone goes upstairs in disgust and leaves you alone!!

Been farting like a trooper since the 23rd, big change of diet. Jumped on the scales today and I've put on 10lbs in a week.

And there was me naively thinking this was going to be a thread about gas pressure being a tad lower on Christmas Day and the oven being rather slower than usual. You would think I had been an FM long enough to know better.

For some reason I seem to save up all my flatulence for my daily hour-long dog walk. You'd think the two hounds with their sense of smell would be put off but they don't seem to care at all, which is just as well. Mind you, they go eating other dogs poo, given half a chance, so I suppose they're probably not the best arbiters.

![]() I thought it was going to be about a standard bottle of household chloroform being accidentally put to misuse.

Our left-over sprouts should be done today if OH helps me to finish them. Came down to eat last night and said to me "have you finished farting for today yet?"
We're dipping them in humous now. Hate wasting anything and veg is good for you.
