ITVs Broadcast of Harry Potter> Excess Brightness?
What have ITV done to Potter in Azkaban? Looks cheap.

Suggestion:-
Try the remote control, it has a brightness button. Unfortunately the brightness control only works on the TV.

You got the wrong gamma value, on the tv? Many films are now done as chirascuro ( with a deliberately dark background) making it easier to slot in any cgi computer ''special effects'' later on ........

No, they have processed it to brighten it. Also a strange high contrast effect in shadow areas.
Azzkaban is a dark film, in both senses, probably ITV didn't think that was commercial. I've seen this film often enough to know when it's wrong. |
