I wasn't that keen on her the first time around. Nothing has changed. Good actress though.

Oi don't you be leaving us KK!!!!

To be fair I think Toyah's personality was damaged irrevocably by the rape & I'm interested to see if they are going to use that as a reason that she can still never commit seriously to a relationship!! I guess it would be difficult considering her rapist was someone she thought of as a friend, but yeah, it would be nice to see the three 'sisters' become a force in a morel light hearted, family bond type way rather than being in crisis all the time!!
Time will tell, but what you will always get with Georgia Taylor is sound, quality acting if nothing else!!

Tbh I am not mad keen on Peter and Toyah being together, however it's only been three episodes so I am going to reserve judgement.

However I was cheering at the telly when Toyah accused Nick of being a wimp and never taking responsibility (I'm assuming she was talking about Leanne's abortion back in the 90s). I reckon we saw her feisty side during that scene imo.

I did really enjoy the Leanne and Toyah scenes when Leanne was in the hospital, it felt like old times as you could see how close they still were even after all these years apart.

Exactly what I've been saying on forums (here and FB) - there's no way she would have even given Peter the time of day, let alone him be the 'love of her life'! Absolute nonsensical SL.

A great shame. I liked the actress in Law & Order. I thought she had said she would only return to CS if there was a really good storyline; maybe I should keep more of an open mind and keep my fingers crossed.

Peter, Lee, Toyah and Nick have known one another for many years.
Peter and Toyah together now? No, I really don't think so IMO. Or f they had been seeing one another since "bumping into one another in Portsmouth", she would have told Leanne months ago.
I suppose in a round about way it could, taking maybe six months to a year, go round in a circle and lead to Leanne and Peter being together again - after Simon blackmailing his dad, and Eva and Toyah clashing etc.”

So she said she'd only return to the cobbles if she got some decent storylines. She must have had Peters tongue in her cheek when she made that statement. A decent storyline? Talk about stretching it a bit. The quality control workers in the factory who constantly pull at the seams and fabric would be proud to stretch the knickers half as much.

You sound like a lover scorned. Peter has found someone else, it's time to let it go and get on with your life. It's sad I know, but it has to be done.

What? If that's what understood from my very obvious (and admittedly poor) joke, I am seriously concerned about your basic comprehension of the English language.

The thing with on line forums is that when someone thinks what they're saying is obviously a joke it doesn't always come across as such to total strangers who don't know and understand said FM's sense of humour, particularly if smilies aren't used.

If I knew what comprehension meant I would know if I should concerned or not. But I thought your joke wasn't poor, it was very funny. 😁 Hence my reply.

My concern is that with Toyah back will it mean a return of the dreaded Janice?

I've been disappointed with her comeback so far.
I know Georgia is a great actress but I feel she is struggling to fit back into the character of Toyah as I just don't find her believable. I guess it will take her some time to settle back.

I am afraid I have to agree.
I used to like Toyah but on her return my first observations are that I don't care for what she has developed into. Hopefully this will change.

I can't wait to see this Toyah. She has been described as a Goddess, a sour faced trout and everything in between. I don't know if I'm in for a shock or a pleasent surprise. I think I'll have a bottle of Jack Daniels close by just to be on the safe side. Regardless of how she is I'll drink it as she steps on the cobbles in celebation of a new arrival. As the Cajuns say at Mardi Gras, Laissez Les bons temps rouler.

I was looking at Izzie tonite in the hair salon and she looked so different. Her hair was down and it made her face look so soft and kind and so pretty. I never realized what importance a hair style played in the looks and confidence of a woman. She looked bubbly and fantastically happy. You live and learn.

I was surprised how long Izzie's hair was when she was at the salon, and she did look very pretty and happy. It's a shame the writers never give her much to smile and be happy about.

I would take Gary and my wife out to take Izzie out for a night on the cobbles. I would tell the court I was besotted by her and it was a crime of passion. Hopefully when Izzie is called to the stand it will be seen that I had good reason for my actions and will look favorably upon me. A man driven to murder, but understandably so. Looking good Izzie, looking good.
