"As". Not written by George, it was written by the wonderful Stevie Wonder, but it's my favourite George Michael song.

I liked I'm Your Man by Wham - I generally preferred the more upbeat stuff.
I'm split over his songs in that I only like the upbeat stuff and don't like any of the slow ones. TBH I don't like ballads in general anyway, it's danceable stuff all the way for me.

I wasn't a fan of his but seem to remember enjoying the video to Faith when I was a young lad

I wasn't much of a fan but I quite liked the song he performed at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony which is called 'White Light' I believe.

I'm a Stevie Wonder fan and I always turn the radio off when they play GM's version - not that he doesn't do it well, but it seems to me the channels never play Stevie's version, which is superb! It's the same with his other covers - they get played much more than the originals do (as do many other covers by many other artists).

I think the originals deserve equal air time - George has made enough great original music of his own; I'd feel the same if a new version Careless Whisper came out and we never heard GM's version again.

Nice to see this get a mention. Not a massive fan of his but this is a very, very special song.
'Kissing A Fool' was gorgeous as well.

I wasn't a big fan of the guy, but I do appreciate the fact that he was talented. 'Last Christmas' and 'Careless Whisper' are both quality songs, and I like them about equally.

I need to listen to more of George's music but I had a bit of a soft spot for the few tunes I knew. I especially liked Freedom '90 and Amazing.

I feel his music had a distinctive 'that's George Michael' vibe... when you know straight away it's him singing, a bit like Bowie (for me at least)

I like many of his songs from early Wham stuff onwards . Particularly like the 'clever' lyrics. Cowboys and Angels for instance. BBC 1 are repeating the documentary about the Paris Garnier Opera House concert tonight at 10pm. Fascinating. He explains the background of that song. "I'm not right for you and you're not right for me" sounds straightforward enough if about two people but it was about 3 - his obsession with a straight man and a woman who loved George- puts a whole new meaning to that sentence.
Everything She Wants - ascerbic to say the least. You tell me that you're having my baby, I'll say that I'm happy if you want me to be. Ouch! Loved that he took the name of a clothes chain, a bit like a 1980s Primark, for the title 😎
