About 12:30, which is unusual but it was just the two of us this year so we could eat about the normal time for us. Mostly when invited elsewhere we find we are eating about 3 or 4 o'clock which completely buggers up our biorhythms. I've either eaten to keep me going so not hungry when Christmas dinner is served, or I'm past caring and so not hungry anyway.

Could you be a little more specific please? You've started a discussion asking what time people ate their Christmas Dinner but have been very vague about what time you sat down yourself.

I don't expect you to give the exact time, unless you actually recorded it, but you must be capable of giving us a better idea within 10 minutes or so.

We had ours at 3am this morning!

I know it's beyond weird, but for the first time in my life I've got chronic insomnia. I was diagnosed with 3 severely diseased coronary arteries in October, and the medication I'm on is f***ing me up.

It was lovely though.

6.30 which is the time I have dinner most days.

I couldn't sit and eat a meal at lunchtime, i'd only end up picking at it

1pm, none of us got up very early so we bypassed breakfast. We had turkey sandwiches for tea about 6.30pm followed by some yule log later on which repeated on me something chronic *note to self* don't eat anything rich late in the evening!

I hope you're making excellent use of this thrilling information. We had ours at 6pm... evidence of stuffing shit came less than 24hrs later.

We have ours at 3pm every year at my parents.

Then we go and have another at 6pm at my in laws (which I don't eat. My partner, however, eats every bit of each, and my dad makes an absolute mountain of food).

WOW! Your in-laws have theirs really late! I couldn't eat a huge rich Christmas dinner at that time of the day, I'd be up all night with acid reflux!
I certainly couldn't eat one at 3-00pm & then another at 6-00pm, that isn't healthy either!

I had mine at 3-00pm, I always made mine for 2-00pm, but when you're invited out you have to go with the flow.

Our family is a bit like that. No set time, it will be ready when its ready sometime later.

I had a shock my first year at the ex-in-Laws. Must be sat at the table AT Midday.

Given that me and my ex had driven down the day before and stayed up late with too much wine, we were a bit hungover, feeling sick and not really in the mood for a huge lunch.

I must say the Mother was a fabulous cook and put a lot of effort in. 4 different types of home-made Stuffing!

I managed to eat enough to be appreciative.
