I thought Boxing Day was a lot stronger than Xmas Day itself.

I thought for sure all the calm stuff would lead to a great Christmas.

That was my hope too. I thought that all these quiet, drama free episodes (which I didn't like) were just part of a plan to have a really massive Christmas episode. And months of nothingness climaxed to... nothing. Really horrible. I was willing to give all these weeks and months a pass if Christmas would be the big event. And the episode has made me condemn these past episodes even more.

I'm reserving judgement until NYD's episode

Its been very dull of late, it really needs a rather dramatic shakeup in terms of both characters and storylines. Frankly the axe needs to be taken to several more characters with new ones introduced, and by new ones I mean new, not random relatives of existing families.

I've felt thoroughly bored with it, except Christmas. It's bound to liven up next week, though...

The NYD episodes are generally better than the Christmas ones if I recall correctly.

It hasn't been as explosive that's for sure, it's still keeping me intrigued though so it's doing something right.

Some of the criticising and slating SOC threads are getting quite creative with titles of the threads at least.

Really enjoyed EE this year overall. This Christmas has also been very enjoyable. Max is my favourite character on the show so I'm very glad he's back.
