Not only is he a thief, a liar, and a fraud, but he used his history of mental illness to manipulate Whitney in tonight's episode. What an absolutely scummy thing to do He's quickly become a very nasty little man.

It's an absolute shame they've ruined his character like this with the stealing and robbery plot. He had my sympathy because I've had depression since my teens.

I will tell you something now that has really got me with Lee's character.

The bloke has done a tour, now most civilians won't see that as such a big thing, in their opinion the army is full of blokes who have done tours. Wrong, in a platoon you will lucky to have 2/3 blokes that have done Afghan, and these guys who have done Afghan are the ****ing daddy's even as bods (privates) they get treated like royalty in battalion. If you have done a tour you are the dogs bollocks. No ****ing way does a bloke whos done Afghan turn out the way Lee has, i am not talking about the depression side of it, i just mean being ashamed of shit, Lee has done a ****ing tour he should be laughing at every civvy that walks into the queen vic because they are not fit enough to lace his boots. I know ALOT of blokes who have done tours and they would never end up like Lee, Eastenders need to start showing respect to their armed forces.

There are a lot of people who join the army just to look tough and strong. Many week kids that would be scared in a one on one fight join to be involved in a group and make themselves feel stronger. Not all and probably not even half but there are people like that.
So for people like that when they get back and they end up on their own again they feel powerless. I`ve seen it in a few people. So however much the Lee character is quite boring, it is a real life type of character.

What a load of rubbish. I too know people who have "done a tour" and luckily they dont think of themselves in the way you describe them. Saying that "civvys" are'nt fit to lace the boots of people in the armed forces shows how little you actually know about it.

The bit that puzzles me is that Lee is not a tough guy mentally or physically. You would think a stint in the army had taught him something. He comes across as a complete wimp.
