No sound on MOTD
No sound on the two recorders I was using. Was it just me?

They apologised at the end for the lack of sound on HD.

There was no sound for part of the programme on the HD channel, but there was sound on BBC1. I recorded it on 101 and the sound came back on again late into the recorded programme.

How on earth could they let it go on for so long without fixing the problem?

Maybe someone just pressed "play" at 10.55pm and then went down to the pub. Later, someone coming back from the pub probably noticed there was no sound and turned it on. Note. The absence of any juvenile smiley in this post doesn't necessarily mean I was being serious. |

Few staff around at that time of the night. It probably isn't a live programme, having been recorded earlier.
BBC 1 HD in Wales and NI were unaffected, because they can only support 2.0 audio, and Glasgow were far more on the ball and switched the audio to 2.0 |
