Watched all the episodes for Coast vs Country and have to admit that I liked the series.

A nice positive change from Escape to the Country.

Firstly, apart from a couple of very large budgets, the amount people had to spend was reasonable. From as low as £90,000.

Secondly, apart from a few buyers, most of the houses had offers made on them and were successful.

Thirdly, unlike EttC, I would say that nearly all of the people on the show were genuine. Not like on EttC were you can tell that most are only on the show for a free holiday/break and to get on TV.

There is a very good on screen chemistry between Sara Damergi and Kerr Drummond, a bit like Kirstie and Phil on LLL.

I enjoyed this programme as well.

I enjoyed the laid back approach, and the banter between the two presenters.

Apparently a second series has been commissioned.

Try as they might, all BBC efforts are an embarrassment compared to Location, Location, Location.

A friend knew someone who took part in one of those programmes, they never had any intention of moving.

I really enjoyed this too, apart from the episode where they only had the budget for a chalet type place. Both Sara and Kerr and good presenters and the banter between them can be amusing, though a bit twee.

Whilst I like the presenters, I don’t like the banter about who is the winner. Surely, what most people care about is seeing the houses and how much you can get for your money in different areas. I also think that more information could new given about the towns in each locality as well as transport links.

Don't like the nonsense that seems to be copied from here in the US about making shows battles or wars. You're trying to get people to buy a home don't weaponise it. Doing that, among some many other things, makes US TV unwatchable for me, please stop UK TV following that ideology.
