Because white people are born with privilege and use said privilege to oppress black people and women in the eyes of these social justice warriors. The MTV video was blatantly racist and sexist (and yes, it is entirely possible to be racist against white people and sexist against men). These types of people seem keen to focus entirely on segregating people into groups and classifying people as predators or needing protection from the aforementioned predators under the guise of "equality" (equality of outcome, not equal opportunities). Women and minorities are good and need protection from the evil white straight (and recently, single) men. It's projection, social justice warriors push their bigotry onto other people who are not bigots to deflect from their own bigotry.
All social justice warriors do is complain about first world issues whilst doing nothing other than virtue signalling, claim they're being oppressed for attention - as people race each other to be the biggest victim in the oppression olympics, wish for critics to be censored - exposing their authoritarian stance and smear people who disagree with their ideology as harassers whilst excusing bad behaviour from those who they agree with. Most people are fed up with them across the political spectrum. You can only shout "racist", "sexist", "homophobe", "you don't want to be classed as a bigot, do you..?" and "what if your employer was to find out about your bigotry" at a group of people before they retaliate. And they already have - with Brexit and the election of Donald Trump.
If you're a man and criticise these groups or even suggest that men have issues too, you're a "sexist neckbearded loser who lives in their mother's basement and is bitter because they can't get laid". If you're a woman and criticise these groups or even suggest that men have issues too, you have "internalised misogyny".
I'm on the centre left and I am thoroughly sick of the authoritarian left dragging the terms "liberal" and "left" through the mud.
Ironic that I listen to this video as I type this. A long video but seems very apt and recommended viewing:
