The real issue with the US is the ammount of guns in circulation.”

The real issue in the US is that people use those guns - plenty of other nations have high gun ownership rates but don't have the same murder rate the US does.

And frankly I am bored with the emotion over statistics.

A black man is up to 70 times more likely to be murdered by another black men in the USA than a white police officer. Black men have accounted for nearly 50 per cent of murders in the US over the last 25 to 30 years despite only being 6 per cent of the population. But the media never say there is a problem of violence with many black men killing other black men or black men generally - just white men and white police officers.

If white men were really so bad how come so much of the world cannot wait to come and move to the countries and civilisations they created with white women - the US, Canada, Europe, Australia etc. You don't see much movement the other way do you! Maybe they aren't so bad really - as they have created nations the rest of the world seem rather to aspire to.

It's funny how those celebrities complaining about Trump's victory and advocating for socialism have not moved to the socialist paradise of Venezuela.

If its a question of money, I'm sure we can do a crowdfunder for one way tickets to Caracas for the lot of them.

Which major US celebrities actually advocate socialism? Most seemed to just advocate Clinton over Trump.

Social justice warriorhood has its roots in socialist principles, specifically Cultural Marxism. Trump is the antichrist to these people with Farage as his sidekick. And it is this ideology that such celebrities have in common - Clinton played them as useful idiots in her attempt to become US President but didn't count on a growing number of people fed up with her and her rhetoric.

MTV stoops to new lows on the war against white men, by pandering to the BLM crowd.

what would the reaction be if such a video was created called 2017 resolution for black woman were to be released?”

MTV took that video down twice because it was downvoted so heavily.
Now it's just people upping for clicks.

Typical MTV bullshit.

The video is pretty funny (particularly the Kanye bit imo) but nothing earth shattering. It's only going to be remembered for triggering the usual suspects.

Has Bill O'Reilly thrown a temper tantrum yet?

Can we do one for black people as well then. being white in a black neighbourhood is usually more difficult than the opposite in todays world.

You mean due to the higher car and home insurance premiums?

The ones from impoverished backgrounds ?

It wouldn't happen if guns weren't so easy to get hold of.

Im just pointing out the hypocrisy of this, what would happen if the bbc released a video on how black gay or muslims should improve for 2017?

There would be a massive out pouring of rage and people would lose there jobs. So why is this tolerated when it is about white people.

No country, of whatever political persuasion, can be a paradise.

And Venezuela is not a socialist state. If it is, the UK under Churchill, Eden and Supermac in the '50s must be construed as one too.

Only 8 per cent of black children in the US who grow up in households where their parents are married are classed as living in poverty. This compares to nearly 50 per cent of families headed by a black female single parent living in poverty. On some surveys up to 85 per cent of those in prison in the US come from single parent homes.

Over 70 per cent of African American kids today in the US are born to single parents compared to only 22 per cent in 1960.

Do not see the issue there?

If the government becomes the dad via the welfare system kids are more likely to be in poverty and in prison - if the real dad becomes the dad they almost certainly won't be.

Get these men to do their jobs as fathers and perhaps the poverty and crime rates might fall?

And it's time we had more statistics - and less emotion.

All Black lives matter - not just the 2 per cent killed by police officers many of whom are police officers of colour. And the way to solve this is not to trash and burn neighbourhoods and businesses where black people live.

I remember when MTV was edgy and rebellious and you risked getting caught watching it. But I really don't know what they stand for now with weird shit like this

They have generated a lot of backlash so maybe that was the idea

They've turned into Buzzfeed. As long as this sort of sh!t doesn't spill over here to where we are, we should be fine. It is a horrible attitude to take. People are people but over there, this one doesn't mix with that one and this thing is culturally inappropriate but that thing isn't, that person fits in that box and drinks pumpkin spiced latte but doesn't eat chicken. It is all craziness over there. The thing is the loopiness always stems from that loud country. Other places don't behave like that but somehow it eventually rubs off on the rest of us somewhere down the line.
Rant over 😄

Really - how come so many people from all over the world have and are still desperate to move there?

Maybe these countries essentially created by white men and women aren't that bad really are they - otherwise so many people wouldn't want to move to them from other parts of the world..

BBC Three's short form social commentary videos are Buzzfeed in British form.

And as the Internet is international, this sort of click-bait is prevalent on social media, indeed many mainstream media outlets including MTV are following this trend in order to make money. As long as people fall for their rhetoric and gathers attention for such outlets, the more they'll continue to do it.

True because the biggest killer besides from natural causes such as illness and accidents, is suicide not murder. Therefore most black people kill black people, most white people kill white people

Not quite

White men accounted for 70 per cent of suicides in the US in 2015 despite being Only 35 per cent of the population. Not that they get much sympathy for that - maybe it's the burden of being blamed for all the problems in the world. African American males have the lowest suicide rate of any ethnic group - barely one third that of white men.

https://afsp.org/about-suicide/suicide-statistics/

By contrast Black men in the US represent only six per cent of the US population but account for nearly half of all murders. If Americas problems were just all about access to guns then surely there wouldn't be this murder rate differential?

If you want to end up a victim of gun crime in the UK it's probably more likely to occur in say Hackney, Brent, Southwark and Lambeth than Hastings, Barnstaple, Scunthorpe or Llandudno which also have plenty of poor people.

Not that people like statistics - as emotions are far easier as they don't require much thought.
