Its all out there for people to read.
You can read about the history of slavery by the Ottoman Empire at the link below. They only stopped keeping Caucasians as slaves in the 19th century - and had done so for well over 600 years. Far longer than the US and UK slave trade which lasted barely two centuries.
But this enslavement of white people is never taught to us or discussed. And if the Ottoman Empire hadn't been stopped through several wars in central Europe they could have taken over the whole of Europe.
It perhaps explains why nations like Hungary, Poland and Slovakia are less than keen on taking refugees from the Middle East because their ancestors fought many bloody wars to protect their borders so they didn't experience what people did in Ukraine and the Balkans and become slaves too. It runs deep.
Why we are never taught about this history of slavery in Europe in our schools rather perplexes me. But I don't suppose it suits the narrative - that white Europeans were responsible for all slavery in the world and were never slaves themselves.
All slavery was and is evil - and it was the rich and powerful and the kings and aristocrats who practiced it. It was never confined to any one race - white working class people in the UK and US were hardly beneficiaries either as they were deprived of paid work that others were enslaved to do for nothing.
