One does not train in or out a dog's natural predilections what one does is accentuate to one direction or t'other and that includes selection for breeding. If dogs were always loving and kind then one would not be able to train dogs that were not with general ease.
Most humans are not cold to strangers but most are also wary of strangers to various degrees.
I think you overegg when you say we 'love' cats and dogs. There are a few who do not and many who tolerate the affection that others lavish on them

You are being obtuse here.
Both the Pawnees and Incas lived in the continents we know today as the Americas, and internecine wars between tribes/peoples living there was inevitable.
My point is that this "new world" was invaded by people from a completely different continent in relatively recent historical times, with the resultant terrible effect it had on the native Americans.
